SUMMARY: Breeder's Con!! Come sell eggs, goods, breed with strange pokemon you never met before, talk about shinies or egg moves, and all that jazz! Just don't mind that the decorations look like they belong at a Valentine's Day party

[ When it came to parties with little purpose such as holidays, Saber found herself often struggling with creativity. Organizing a makeshift "bazaar" however was a thing a king can do and so she did. Not that she was experienced in the matters of the market, but from the stance she took as royalty during her reign, prosperity flourished within Britain so that was reason enough to feel justified in what she was doing. While the Breeding Centre wasn't nearly large enough to host a grand event, there was still enough space with the careful arrangement of tables and chairs to accommodate a larger population than the building was used to. Most of the loose Pokemon were placed away (even the murderous Scyther) and the place was decorated in various shades of red and pink.

Nero was going to love that, wasn't she? Saber thought about adding a touch of blue, but it didn't really seem to fit the theme.

For those who may be a bit more antisocial or have things they wish to trade or sale that were too large to keep indoors, there were a few tables set up in the yard under makeshift coverings from tarp. Not the most attractive job, but Saber isn't going to force people who might be wary of large crowds. Indoors, there's plenty of warm refreshments and a hot chocolate bar. All of the unoccupied rooms of the Breeding Centre have little signs hanging from the door knob just in case anyone wants to give their mons a bit of privacy too. How considerate! ]

[Apollo doesn't smile back, but he doesn't look unhappy to see Ash; he just doesn't have enough experience socializing with other humans to know that he's supposed to do things like that.]

Terror Watcher? That's... not the most common of names. Especially for something as small and furry as a Sentret.

[Even though Ash is in no position to comment on anyone's name choices, because Scarf.]

I guess their species tends to be talkative, if those two are any indication.

[Scarf at least kind of looks like a scarf now that she's a Furret. A six foot long, 70 lb. scarf that would probably be painful to wear (though nice and warm) after a while, but a scarf nonetheless.

"Terror Watcher", on the other hand...]

It's the name that Nico Robin gave him. He ended up in my PC box when she went home.

The Furret who's with me doesn't talk as much as these two, but I don't know if she doesn't talk as much as other Furret and Sentret or if these two talk more. Either way, she's nice to talk to. [He smiles slightly.] Terror Watcher's usually asking questions when he talks. He's curious about everything.

To give him that name she must have had great hopes for him, though I don't think his curiosity would fit them. Is your Furret visiting the convention too?

[That there are! There's people and Pokémon everywhere.]

Yeah, all the Pokémon who stay with me are. Most of them are wandering around here somewhere though. Only Terror Watcher, Golurk, and Yamask are with me right now.

[Everywhere! So many eggs too, but trainer doesn't want to get any.]

Are you sure that's a good idea? You might end up with a few eggs from them before the day is over, depending on who they meet.

[How sad! Mine is only buying Normal-types today. There's more of us than all the other types put together in the team!]

Well, considering the theme of the day and the number of partners available... I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

[Not only, but he really really wants us to be super! He's worried people think we're not specialized enough.]

I hope I can find enough people to take care of all of the eggs if that happens.

[Mama says that's what makes us special! Because we're not specialized we can learn all kinds of moves, so we're really versetel. Versettle... We're good at a lot of things!]

Considering the current circumstances it shouldn't be a problem, unless their species already saturate the market.

[We can do a lot of things, but we don't have the advantage over other types! He thinks other trainers might not like that, especially if they just want the badges. So he wants to train us a much as possible to prove we don't need it.]
