SUMMARY: Breeder's Con!! Come sell eggs, goods, breed with strange pokemon you never met before, talk about shinies or egg moves, and all that jazz! Just don't mind that the decorations look like they belong at a Valentine's Day party

[ When it came to parties with little purpose such as holidays, Saber found herself often struggling with creativity. Organizing a makeshift "bazaar" however was a thing a king can do and so she did. Not that she was experienced in the matters of the market, but from the stance she took as royalty during her reign, prosperity flourished within Britain so that was reason enough to feel justified in what she was doing. While the Breeding Centre wasn't nearly large enough to host a grand event, there was still enough space with the careful arrangement of tables and chairs to accommodate a larger population than the building was used to. Most of the loose Pokemon were placed away (even the murderous Scyther) and the place was decorated in various shades of red and pink.

Nero was going to love that, wasn't she? Saber thought about adding a touch of blue, but it didn't really seem to fit the theme.

For those who may be a bit more antisocial or have things they wish to trade or sale that were too large to keep indoors, there were a few tables set up in the yard under makeshift coverings from tarp. Not the most attractive job, but Saber isn't going to force people who might be wary of large crowds. Indoors, there's plenty of warm refreshments and a hot chocolate bar. All of the unoccupied rooms of the Breeding Centre have little signs hanging from the door knob just in case anyone wants to give their mons a bit of privacy too. How considerate! ]

[ Obvious answer, but...curious. And Aradia will take the chair offered, sorting out her offerings - she got a variety of sandwiches, pink lemonades, and some other things in the bag of wonder.

Or the bag of food from work, take your pick. ]

Mmhmm. They're easy enough and they don't require much space, so they pass the time here between visitors. [She sets them down even as she leans over to look at the various things Aradia had brought, eventually choosing a sandwich.]

Would you like a pair? I believe I have some red materials...

Oh, that makes sense! ...Well, I mean, as far as I can see. I've never really tried to sew anything, now that I think of it - beyond minor repairs to skirts and things, but you know I'm no good at that.

[ Actually, the whole making things beautiful thing Kanaya can do has always been admirable to Aradia. She just finds things, and learns about them. Restoring them has never been her thing. ]

I certainly wouldn't protest! Everything you make is just...well, perfect.

You might enjoy it. [Well, Kanaya thought everyone would enjoy it.] It's...soothing.

[She takes a bite of her sandwich as she considers her materials carefully.]

I wouldn't mind learning a little, if you're willing to teach someone who's uneducated in the ways of...well, sewing.

[ Aradia finishes up a sip of her lemonade before setting down the cup and holding out her hands for Kanaya; she has no idea how measurements are taken for this, either, really. ]

[Kanaya is actually pretty good at eyeballing measurements, so she just looks for a moment then nods.]

I'd love to teach you, Aradia. It's not terribly complicated at all, honestly.

Then I'd love to learn! Maybe next Christmas I'll be making you a fashionable sweater.

[ Prooobably not going to get that proficient, ever, but maybe she will at least learn to make pokedolls for her various pokemon babies. ]
