SUMMARY: Breeder's Con!! Come sell eggs, goods, breed with strange pokemon you never met before, talk about shinies or egg moves, and all that jazz! Just don't mind that the decorations look like they belong at a Valentine's Day party

[ When it came to parties with little purpose such as holidays, Saber found herself often struggling with creativity. Organizing a makeshift "bazaar" however was a thing a king can do and so she did. Not that she was experienced in the matters of the market, but from the stance she took as royalty during her reign, prosperity flourished within Britain so that was reason enough to feel justified in what she was doing. While the Breeding Centre wasn't nearly large enough to host a grand event, there was still enough space with the careful arrangement of tables and chairs to accommodate a larger population than the building was used to. Most of the loose Pokemon were placed away (even the murderous Scyther) and the place was decorated in various shades of red and pink.

Nero was going to love that, wasn't she? Saber thought about adding a touch of blue, but it didn't really seem to fit the theme.

For those who may be a bit more antisocial or have things they wish to trade or sale that were too large to keep indoors, there were a few tables set up in the yard under makeshift coverings from tarp. Not the most attractive job, but Saber isn't going to force people who might be wary of large crowds. Indoors, there's plenty of warm refreshments and a hot chocolate bar. All of the unoccupied rooms of the Breeding Centre have little signs hanging from the door knob just in case anyone wants to give their mons a bit of privacy too. How considerate! ]

[Little Skarmory tilted his head and watched as 17 leaned a little close with eyes leering left to right.]

One looks like fire since he's a lamp. [He leered to the other. He loved guessing games.] That one, ground right? ['Crystal' = mineral = ground. It was a good guess.]

[At the same time, John can't help but offer the bitty Skarmory a curious glance. He himself owns a pygmy Dunsparce, at least going by what the Pokedex says, but a Skarmory that small somehow seems more noteworthy.]

[Also it's kind of adorable.]

Close! You're right about Chandel, she is indeed part fire. Crystal though is-- [He's cut off as the ghost girl in question blows a stream of frozen air at Seventeen.] hehe, ice type.

[Red would returned a glare back to John. Just what is he looking at? Look how tough he is? He'll grow eventually, just watch. Pokémon outside already taunt him enough.

As for 17, he didn't flinched from the frozen air. Thank goodness Skarmory is immune to ice. The steel bird flapped his wings to divert the chill somewhere else.]

Heh, should be careful not to blow her fuse. [Pokémon characters were more interesting than their powers.] So ghosts can share different characters as well like this guy. [He thumbed Skarmory.]

[No shh, little guy he thinks you're cool just the size you are! Don't give him that look.]

Yup! There are all sorts of type combinations with ghosts. [He starts listing combos, counting off on his fingers.] Ghost/water, ghost/ground, ghost/dark, ghost/poison, ghost/flying, ghost/bug...you get the idea. Actually, most ghosts are dual-typed. In fact, there are only four pure-ghost lines.

Interesting. So which duel-type ghost is your favorite?

[He points to the design on his shirt.]

Haunter. They're part ghost, part poison though honestly it's not the typing that makes them my favorite.

Okay then, how about witch one is more affective?

Spiritomb then, definitely. The combination of ghost and dark is definitely the best from a strategic standpoint. They have no elemental weaknesses, after all. Since they cancel each other out.

Plus Spiritomb is oddly adorable on top of if.

Spiritomb is the only one with that type of duel I take?

Actually, no! Sableye also has the same typing, I just prefer Spiritomb personally. But those are the only two that have been discovered so far with that typing.

Hehe, would perhaps seeing one in person change that maybe into a yes? Because I happen to have the father with me today.

[John pulls a Pokéball from his belt, tossing it on the table to reveal a Sableye in a flash of light. The ghost flexes its claws a little, glancing around the room before fixing 17 with its jeweled stare, chittering and gnashing its teeth a little.]

This is Gizmo! Pretty neat, huh? [Gizmo cackles, puffing his chest out.] They can bite through solid rock with those chompers of theirs and their claws are pretty intense too. Definitely not something you want to be scratched by. And see the eyes? They asy they're like that because of their mineral-rich diet but they can pretty much see in pitch darkness with those. Which is a good thing since they live in caves.

[17 crouches down to Gizmo's height. Most people would think it's creepy but 17 doesn't seem to show it with his poker face.] He's not bad looking.

[Gizmo puffs out his chest and flexes a little. Damn straight he's not bad looking. This is primo, A+ ghost you're talking about here.]

I'm glad you agree. They're very interesting looking little buggers. At least I think. They're relatively easy to feed too since they basically just eat rocks. Gems too, if they can get them.

[Hey, a pride type one. So going in the team.]

Then my decision still stands, I'll take one of him.

[Damn straight. Gizmo is a stubborn little bastard who is positive that he is not only always right, but also invincible and pretty much The Best. Investing in one of his offspring is a genius move, in his oh so humble opinion.]

Excellent, that will be P6,500. You won't be disappointed. [He nods to Casey, who salutes and grabs the requested egg from the pile, bringing it to the table with a smile and a squeak.]

[One creepy little guy for the team. Now to think of a name for him when he hatches. He pulls out some Pokemoneys out for John.]
