SUMMARY: Breeder's Con!! Come sell eggs, goods, breed with strange pokemon you never met before, talk about shinies or egg moves, and all that jazz! Just don't mind that the decorations look like they belong at a Valentine's Day party

[ When it came to parties with little purpose such as holidays, Saber found herself often struggling with creativity. Organizing a makeshift "bazaar" however was a thing a king can do and so she did. Not that she was experienced in the matters of the market, but from the stance she took as royalty during her reign, prosperity flourished within Britain so that was reason enough to feel justified in what she was doing. While the Breeding Centre wasn't nearly large enough to host a grand event, there was still enough space with the careful arrangement of tables and chairs to accommodate a larger population than the building was used to. Most of the loose Pokemon were placed away (even the murderous Scyther) and the place was decorated in various shades of red and pink.

Nero was going to love that, wasn't she? Saber thought about adding a touch of blue, but it didn't really seem to fit the theme.

For those who may be a bit more antisocial or have things they wish to trade or sale that were too large to keep indoors, there were a few tables set up in the yard under makeshift coverings from tarp. Not the most attractive job, but Saber isn't going to force people who might be wary of large crowds. Indoors, there's plenty of warm refreshments and a hot chocolate bar. All of the unoccupied rooms of the Breeding Centre have little signs hanging from the door knob just in case anyone wants to give their mons a bit of privacy too. How considerate! ]

Perhaps they've bribed the authorities for that purpose long ago.

People do try. But it's not always easy to catch them before they act.

The ideal would be to prevent or discourage them from acting in the first place, but even though I've heard rumors of people trying to organize against them, any such efforts appear to have either failed or not existed in the first place...

Discouraging them would be much easier if we could attack their supplies or pool of candidates. But since they also receive members at random...

That isn't strictly necessary. All that's needed for a start, at least, would be for enough people to publicly oppose them. Right now they can do as they please without fear of repercussion; if the reverse were true and they were the ones being beaten or under attack, it would undermine morale and force them not to act so brazen and wantonly.

To attack them, we need to know where they are, and we need to know who they are. Few openly advertise their allegiance.

They're attacking targets in populated areas, aren't they? It would take little more than enough people sufficiently aware and sufficiently willing to strike back to begin to deter such things.

It would deter individual Rockets from attacking again, certainly. But the leaders of powerful, ill-intentioned groups rarely care about the mishaps of their subordinates. Cutting the head of the beast off is also important.

Of course, but if people can't even stop the lowest of their agents...

We had some success against them when the train was attacked, but that was over a year ago.

They're at how many comments and haven't even talked about eggs yet.... XD

I should hope so. Though I can't imagine the pokemon themselves would be very pleased with such a thing, either.

Crawling over innocent talking trainers...

Indeed. It sometimes makes me wonder why thieves even bother; surely Pokémon that are strong enough to be worth stealing are also strong enough to do great damage while fighting back.
