TO VIOLET
Who: All the Ninja and tagalongs meeting up. (Anyone who just wants to see one of this crew who is in the city is welcome too!)
Where: Violet City
When: Late evening on May 8th.
Summary: Yet another new addition joins the collection of Shinobi.
Rating: PG (can be modified as needed)
Log:
Obito kind of pitied Sakura whenever she got here, if how excited Naruto was was any indicator. The guy was practically vibrating in place. Still, he was admittedly really relieved when he saw Tenten. With the whole vanishing thing Sasuke pulled he'd been kind of... worried.

[You come from a long line of perverts Naruto.]
I liked his first book better.
no subject
I dunno why adults like that stuff so much. Ero-sennin used to make me read the stuff he wrote, but it was really boring.]
no subject
Wait, do you mean the first Icha-Icha book, or the other first book?
no subject
The other. He'd only just started working on a draft for a more adult book-
[Yeaaaaah let's not go there.]
Ah... Have you read it too? It's where we got your name, you know.
no subject
...That book really helped a lot y'know. During that time you appeared for me, that you don't remember.
no subject
...From what you've told me, I think you might have already surpassed that.

[He doesn't know what to say about surpassing his parent's expectations tough. Parental praise is not something he has had often, after all, so it leaves him just blushing a little and awkwardly scratching at his head.]
no subject
[A little awkward, maybe, but it was important to Minato that Naruto heard these things, and not out of some desire to make up for time lost between them.
He was proud of his son, had loved him long before he'd ever laid eyes on a crying bundle of blankets. Even if his words wouldn't be remembered when Naruto returned home... Minato still wanted his son to hear them.]

[A sigh. Well. He may as well just explain the whole story, nw that it has been brought up, right?]
He was the one that killed Ero-sennin, then he attacked Konoha, destroyed it even. That's when the seal broke and I got to see you.
...And I guess 'cause of that, it helped me go talk to him instead of just getting revenge. Because of that, and the book, I managed to change his mind. In the end he really wanted peace, just like us! And he gave his life to revive everyone he killed in Konoha that day.
[So yeah. You could say that he met him 8|]
no subject
I guess if things worked out...
[It's a little confusing to go from "killed everyone and destroyed the village" to "but he really wanted peace and it's fine!". Hm.]
You learned a lot from him.
[More statement than question- maybe not so much a lesson learned directly from Nagato, but Naruto's actions that day surely had a large impact on the way he thought. A good thing.
Death and war were simply a part of life for a shinobi, if Naruto were to talk to someone from... well, any other village really, their opinion and memories of Minato wouldn't exactly be very favorable. But that didn't speak much about the person he really was.]

[Something something ninja way. ]

[There was a lot left to Naruto, weights from all of them placed on his shoulders.
He was glad to see how proudly his son carried them all.]
no subject
[He was happy to, as well.]
no subject
But you're in luck, one of the newest members of his team, Sensei the Poliwag, is cautiously waddling over and getting Minato's attention instead.
he's probably tired of getting shocked every time he tried to play with the others]Hm... you think Gama-chan would want to take on a little student himself? They could join us while we train, later.
no subject
Here... hang on. [Letting Gama-chan out of his ball he begins to hop around as usual- though once he spots the Poliwag he bounces straight on over. Maybe they can understand each other, who knows.]
Gama-chan used to be a cute little Poliwag just like that when I got him, y'know.
no subject
They have two different final evolutions, right? I haven't given much thought to it, but I guess it's still a little early yet.
[And so begins our poliwag cult, Sensei waddling over and... croaking in greeting to his new overlord. hm.]
Fairly sure there are wild Poliwag around the city, I wonder if these two will end up luring them out.
[So Kushina can scream and promptly scare them off.]
no subject
[Watching the two, it seems like they're getting on pretty well already, from what Naruto can tell.]
Really? I'll have to go catch some more then! That way Gama-chan can have some friends. This girl told me about other types of toad pokemon too that I need to find.
no subject
[biffles! Or at least, Sensei was still young enough to be lured in as a follower. Don't encourage bad habits in him too, Naruto.]
no subject
[Hey, after all those bad habits Jiraiya taught Naruto? It's only right he does the same. And aww, just look at how well they are getting along.]
no subject
[WOULD MINI EVEN KNOW ABOUT TOAD SAGES IDEK considering he's coming in again late game with all the powerhouses he'll probably pull sage mode out his ass or something]
It would be nice to have a few more around though, I think. We'll have to look into how to find them while we're here.
no subject
[He wants more froggies NOW dammit!]
no subject
[Who was he to deny an excited Uzumaki?]
no subject
Yosh! Let's do it right after Sakura's here and settled and stuff!
no subject
[Super dad can't be super all the time.]
I was going to go sign up to work for a few days while we're here. Plus, we'd have the whole day.
no subject
What if we go at the weekend then?
