Summary: Tenten's birthday party!
Rating: G unless someone starts throwing punches and people start bleeding (likely).

Catch-all party post for Tenten! She's got so much money these days that she just rented the closest thing to an onsen-and-ryokan she could find. I'll be throwing up different areas and turning comments off, so feel free to thread amongst yourselves. It's a party post, you guys know how to do the thing. Also feel free to assume that Tenten would have made arrangements around March 3rd, and worked to try to get flyers to Fly people in if necessary.

ALSO IT'S GOING TO END UP THUNDERSTORMING (thanks, weather); everyone is invited to sleep over. There will be a thread for inside shenanigans, too.

Hot Springs!

[Exactly what she invited everyone for, the outdoor hot springs in Blackthorn. Pokémon are permitted in the water, and bathing suits are required!]

[Tenten can be found relaxing in the water in her bathing suit and hair in twin braided pigtails any time before it starts raining, with one of her many Arcanine perched on the rocks behind her. Every now and then, a Marill pops up out of the water near her to let out a cheerful trill and squirt water at other people.]

[ are you ready for this, Ten? are you? because if you're not careful, Sora's gonna be splashing you with water. 8V ]

[She's definitely not ready for it. In fact, she'd just taken advantage of the quiet to rest her head back against the rocks and close her eyes, meaning the water takes her by complete surprise.]

Ten-chan!

[Because obviously her first suspicion is going to be her troublesome little Marill. The same Marill that'll pop up right beside Sora to spray him with a stream of bubbles. Hello friend! She can splash things too!]

[Well, here we have Riku, clad in black swim trunks. Now, he had plans to drop into the hot springs anyway, but before he can get in by choice?

He gets a whack to the back from his shades-toting Blastoise, knocking him in with a SPLASH.

Please pardon any droplets of hot water that might've hit your face. This was not how Riku anticipated getting in for a dip.]

[Jade starts laughing when the Blastoise knocks Riku into the water.] That's sooooo mean. I don't think he was even ready to get in.

[She shuffles over to make sure Riku is okay, even if she is still giggling a bit. She can't help but find it funny. She's sorry for laughing at you.]

[Mean? Zen snickers, adjusting her super cool shades and flashing Jade a thumbs-up. He totally had it coming, okay? This was her moment.

In the mean time, Riku breaches the water, his face wrinkled up like a prune as he sqits out some of the water he swallowed on the way down.]

...Ugh. How much of that did you see?

[After a long, painful and cold trek through the Ice Path, Twilight is more than happy to slip on a purple bikini, walk/stagger over to the hot springs, wish Tenten a happy birthday, and slide/practically fall in with a groan of pure bliss.]

Never. Going in that cave. Again.

[And here, chilling in the water? One Riku, who's presently leaning back against the rocks.]

Hey, you survived. Isn't that what counts?

When bare survival becomes your baseline for a good trip, it's time to re-evaluate the standards.

[She glances over at him and a slight smile quirks on her lips.]

But at least we won't have to do it again.

[AJ lowers herself into the water, draping an arm across Twilight's shoulders.]

I've never been so thankful for warm water.

(After a dangerous, slippery, and COLD trek through a certain Cave, Dash is more than content to just make her way over while wearing a light blue bikini as she eases herself into the hot springs.

Also, she's never going into anymore mountains or caves as long as she's in Johto or Kanto.)

Having never been to an actual hot spring before, Bertholt practically melted the minute he found a spot. If it wasn't for the Feraligatr floating in front of him and acting as an anchor to keep him from floating away, he probably would've fallen asleep.]</sub>

[There he is! Tenten's on her way to greet him when a Marill pops up between them both, squirting a friendly stream of bubbles in his face. Hello hello!!]

Actually, you wouldn't want to do that at all!

[Jade is floating on her back, but she stops so she can sit next to Bertholt.] You see, it would be great if we could do that, but our bodies aren't meant to stay submerged in water. Our skin starts to deteriorate, which could leave to serious infections. Not a plus when your skin is already deteriorating.

Water pressure also lowers circulation to our extremities, so you'd probably start having trouble breathing, along with a lot of other issues.

While being in water for hours won't cause that, I wouldn't recommend forever. Or even a few days.

[After freezing her tail off through the Ice Caves, and a long conversation as to why it is important to wear clothing while swimming, Applejack steps into the water dressed in an orange and red bikini. She sighs, relaxing her shoulders and closing her eyes. The clothes may be weird, but this water feels amazing.]

[ Sakura's in her own bathing suit (surprisingly pink and white), but sitting with her are a couple of eggs. What better way to help them grow than to give them a nice hot dunk in the hot spring?

She'd bring in a water Pokemon, but the one she has is kind of a Big Pervert so he's locked away in the PC. ]

That's such a great idea.

[Jade is leaning over to look at the eggs Sakura has.] I bet they must be really enjoying the warm water. Will they get too hot though? [How hot is too hot? But she likes how crafty the idea is.]

[Pretend you're surprised that John's swim trunks are blue and feature a male Frillish. Just pretend for a minute. Really? Something with a ghost on it? On John? Never.]

[Anyway, he can be found sitting in the hot springs for a good portion of the party. He's accompanied by a Gothita in the tiniest little funnoodle floatie ring you ever did see, occasionally pushing her a little ways out into the water and watching her try and paddle her way back.]

Well, Rose did. But hey, it's been a while.

Anyone can easily find her floating in the water, eyes closed and almost looking like she's asleep. She's not, don't worry! She's just that relaxed. She's sporting a pretty cute pink bikini, themed after the female Frillish. Pretend you're surprised that she's matching her fiance. On her chest? One absolutely ecstatic Davy Jones. The Omanyte stays put where he is, but he splashes as if he's just discovered that slapping his little tentacles in the water makes noise and gets everything around him wet.]

[That is a giant mass of black hair making it's way over to Rose. Like a shark. She's totally gonna dunk Rose. SHE'S GONNA DO IT.

She's not John, but that doesn't mean Jade didn't get some mischievousness too! And Rose is right there for the picking. Sorry, Rose. It's all in good fun, right? Poor little Davy Jones.] Rose!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [And down they all go.]

[Jade is sporting a modest little galaxy swimsuit. She's never been in a hot spring before, but she finds that she really likes them! She's currently sitting at the edge, her Absol sitting near her. She leans her head back and Bec tilts his head forward to lick her face.

She giggles and then dunks her head under the water. Her hair is just a large black mass following her.]

[Jane is just going to find herself a nice spot to take a soak, and she finally had a chance to wear this cute bathing suit she found. She's allowing her Chansey and Bisharp to enjoy the water as well.

[And approach she does, the ninja girl padding around the side of the hot spring to slip into the water beside her and tap her shoulder.]

Hey!

[One of her many Arcanine is trailing behind her; he doesn't look all that excited to go in the water, but he'll happily rest his muzzle atop Jane's head in greeting.]

[You'd think Dave would be pretty mobile in a situation like this. Nope. He's settled in a spot in his dark red swimtrunks and watching the going ons in silence. The heat feels great but he's sticking to water that isn't too deep thank you.
