Summary: It's Rise's birthday. And with the Fourth Wall wackiness, she forgot to tell anyone. So here's a depressed Rise who now feels too awkward telling anyone.


Locked Prompt for Crocker

[Rise had found a bakery in the quieter part of Goldenrod. She was sitting at a table in the corner, surrounded by her Pokémon. Her Sylveon, Himiko, and her Umbreon, Chiisai, sat on either side of her, and a newly evolved Glaceon, Jin, laid beside Chiisai. Her ever present Meowstic, Nanako, was trying to cheer up her trainer by floating a burning candle and making it move in complicated patterns.

There was a very small smile on her face, though she still looked sad.]

[Rise's out and about town now, her usual smile very brittle. She'll nod to people she knows, but keeps walking, her Pokémon always at her side. If anyone pay attention, she's wearing a pair of black glasses, with small bands of color on the frames, a red Alice band, and a set of headphones around her neck. There's also a blue hat attached to a studded belt, buttons on the hat, and a random red rose attached to the band in her hair, and last, a black tie with barrettes attached. (Of course she's wearing clothes to match this look) These are not the usual things she wears, but items from her friends. She had wished for keepsakes from home, and they had been on her bed that morning.

At least something was going right today. Her thoughts are all over the place, so it'll be hard to get her attention.]

[Twinkle is no stranger to cuddles. She's curled up with Kairi's Sylveon on more than one occasion. So she'll just let you girls have your fun while she gets comfortable.]

[She walks over to a door and opens it.]

The bathrooms in here if you want some privacy.

[She snags her backpack and closes the door behind her, emerging a couple minutes later in purple polka-dotted pajamas.]

[Rise had changed as well, being more the tanktop and shorts in the summer kind of gal.]

Yours too! I really should get some shorts to sleep in this time of year.

[She makes a note to stop back at the mall before going home.]

Hmm... I just want to cuddle. I'm fine either way.

[She gives Kairi a soft smile, squeezing her hand.] Silence is okay.

Mhm. [She smiles up at Rise, before resting her head against her shoulder.]

[She rests her head against Kairi's closing her eyes.] I really enjoyed that date.

[She sighs peacefully, nuzzling into Rise's cheek.]

[She still can't get over how adorable Kairi is. She squeals softly and wraps her arms around the shorter girl, pretty much knocking them both down onto their backs on the bed.]

[She laughs as she's brought down onto the bed.]

I've never had anyone that called me that as much as you.

Well, you are! I like complimenting you~

[And now you get nuzzles, Kairi.]

Well, I like hearing it. [She pecks her cheek.]

Besides, you're pretty cute too.

[She smiles brightly and pecks Kairi's cheek in return.] Good!

[She's genuinely curious. Maybe she just doesn't think like an idol.]

[Then she thinks about the conversation she and Crocker had earlier that morning.]

[Oh wow, she was kind of just teasing her but to get that kind of reaction she's just going to roll with it. She barely even knows what an idol is, but if it means that much to Rise...]

[She nods and covers them both with the blanket.]

[She adjusts herself so that she is laying on Rise's side, her head on her chest. She looks up at her, smiling warmly, leaving little space between them. She inches her face a bit closer as an invitation for Rise to make the first move.]
