[This would be a Fuji, commandeering this bench, music sheets in hand. He's flipping through them with a look of contemplation on his face, absently unscrewing the lid on the canister of coffee that he brought along with him. Now-a-days, it's a little rare to see him about without being engaged in an argument or doing something questionable with food and whatnot, and he knows this too -- which is why he looks like he's enjoying this little bit of time off from full-time weirdness.

It's piano music, marked in black and white. There's also a Froslass hanging over his shoulder, breath misty in the warm, afternoon air. As the afternoon wears on, she starts humming tunelessly, and he chuckles, pointing out notes to her in low tones.

It's just a very lazy afternoon.]

[ just smiling. ] Sooo, maybe we should start off with scales.

[.... yeaaaaah he knows a lost battle when he sees one. Might as well, then.] All right, all right. Major or minor?

[ moving over to the front of the bench, though she isn't sitting just yet. And after a few hummed notes to find an easy octave to begin with, she's starting off on a simple scale. ]

[and being the kind of person he is, he simply, admires the scale. it's been a while since he's last heard one, actually, and he's a little disappointed that he can't pinpoint the key right away.

....... note that he doesn't follow suit, at all.]

[ ..... oh, she's noting. And once she completes it, she isn't ascending any further than that, only repeating the earlier note and starting again.

She's also giving him an "if you don't join in, I will find a way to make you, AND YOU WON'T LIKE THAT WAY" Look. ]

[a sigh. he knows that look. he uses it himself, sometimes.

therefore, he hums, a little, getting the pitch, before joining in as well, jumping in with her scale. while the first few notes are in-tune, as the scale wears on, he purposefully adds a warble to some of the notes, tilting them either slightly sharp or slightly flat.]

[ like she can't not hear that. Rise pauses, but once he hits that vaguely sharp note, she's drawing that up an octave higher and going a half-step past it to get it regular again. See if you can keep up, my warbling weirdo apprentice-- ]

[dude, we're not all sopranos here. your weirdo apprentice raises an eyebrow, considering this. his voice literally shutters when he hits the high C. a bit of a huff.]

Goodness, we're not all birds of paradise here.
