SUMMARY: Breeder's Con!! Come sell eggs, goods, breed with strange pokemon you never met before, talk about shinies or egg moves, and all that jazz! Just don't mind that the decorations look like they belong at a Valentine's Day party

[ When it came to parties with little purpose such as holidays, Saber found herself often struggling with creativity. Organizing a makeshift "bazaar" however was a thing a king can do and so she did. Not that she was experienced in the matters of the market, but from the stance she took as royalty during her reign, prosperity flourished within Britain so that was reason enough to feel justified in what she was doing. While the Breeding Centre wasn't nearly large enough to host a grand event, there was still enough space with the careful arrangement of tables and chairs to accommodate a larger population than the building was used to. Most of the loose Pokemon were placed away (even the murderous Scyther) and the place was decorated in various shades of red and pink.

Nero was going to love that, wasn't she? Saber thought about adding a touch of blue, but it didn't really seem to fit the theme.

For those who may be a bit more antisocial or have things they wish to trade or sale that were too large to keep indoors, there were a few tables set up in the yard under makeshift coverings from tarp. Not the most attractive job, but Saber isn't going to force people who might be wary of large crowds. Indoors, there's plenty of warm refreshments and a hot chocolate bar. All of the unoccupied rooms of the Breeding Centre have little signs hanging from the door knob just in case anyone wants to give their mons a bit of privacy too. How considerate! ]

I believe your Clefairy wants you to buy a Mienfoo and I suspect my Clefable helped give her that idea.

Not a kind I recognize...

Mienfoos are pure Fighting-types, and remain so even they evolve into Mienshao. They look rather weasel-like.

Fighting, huh. ...Haaa, maybe she's looking for a challenge. The only fighting-type she really knows is Sion's Lucario...

Those are always quite popular. You have no Fighting-type yourself, then?

Not yet, anyway. You don't really see them in the wild that often, or at least not in the places I end up in the most.

They do seem to not have a favored location, like certain other types do. I wonder why?

Maybe they don't like all the bugs that are common on a lot of routes, or something.

That could be it. The only Fighting-type I caught was Yan, and I found him in an alley. There were no bugs there.

...Ahh, though, then again, they resist bugs, don't they.

[not that that stops a certain ghost he knows from being terrified of them, but she's a special case]

That means very little. Fire-types resist Ice, but I've never seen one enjoy the winter snows.

True. And I've ice types that are friends with fire types to the point where they curl up together.

That sounds quite sweet. ...Uncomfortable, but sweet.

It is, yeah. They've been together since they were pretty young, so...

Did they hatch simultaneously?

Ahh, no. Sion caught Fio, and then he hatched Jina later. Jina hatched as an Eevee though, so they had time to get to know each other before...

That would help indeed, though it's nice to hear that evolution did not change their relationship. Is Jina a Flareon or a Glaceon?

A Glaceon. Fio's... well, Sion found him as a Growlithe, but he's an Arcanine now.

He has good taste. Arcanines make excellent companions, and wonderful pillows.

They're really soft and warm, yeah. Perfect for curling up with.

Very useful snow-melters during winter storms, too.
