TO VIOLET
Who: All the Ninja and tagalongs meeting up. (Anyone who just wants to see one of this crew who is in the city is welcome too!)
Where: Violet City
When: Late evening on May 8th.
Summary: Yet another new addition joins the collection of Shinobi.
Rating: PG (can be modified as needed)
Log:
Obito kind of pitied Sakura whenever she got here, if how excited Naruto was was any indicator. The guy was practically vibrating in place. Still, he was admittedly really relieved when he saw Tenten. With the whole vanishing thing Sasuke pulled he'd been kind of... worried.

[Considering how often he ran off on his own, Rin had made sure he could patch himself up at least. Field medicine hardly compared though.]
Shame we can't use chakra here, she'd be in high demand helping out at the centers.
no subject
Yeah, she'd probably like that too. I think she helps Tsunade-sama in the hospital at home sometimes.

[A brief bit of sadness flashed over his expression then, the second of his kids lost.
Maybe she'd turn up here too, one day.]
I take it Sakura learned more than the medical side of things from Tsunade-sama?
[She's really strong. He tilted his head and patted at the ground beside him, an offering for Naruto to stop bouncing and join him. In more pleasant conversation.]
You know, I always worried that she'd break Sensei. I couldn't tell you how many times I had to use Hiraishin to get him out of trouble.
[Okay so it wasn't that often, but there had been a few afternoons spent dragging Jiraiya to Rin to get patched up (Tsunade refused to do it, stating it would teach him a lesson. It never did.), his sensei cackling and claiming whatever he had done had been worth it.]
no subject
[Just this face. Sometimes Naruto is too like Jiraiya, and Sakura is far too much like Tsunade.]

[Or your mother's thick skull cough cough]
no subject
But Sakura-chan's really great, you'll like her a lot!
no subject
[A friend of yours is a friend of his!
Even if she sassed him.]
no subject
[It's not quite the years of ninja training he missed out on, but it's good enough for him.]

[Minato would never be too tired, or too busy, for his son.
Well- it would be pretty nice if he could get at least one night of sleep first...]
But, you should know it will include meditation as the sun rises! A few laps around town on our hands... it's important to keep our strength up since we can't use chakra here. Maybe we should ask our Pokemon to accompany us too? Hachi is a pretty good motivator.
Ah! And remind me to ask Kushina if she could make those spinach smoothies of hers when we're done, can't let all our hard work go to waste by eating something unhealthy hm?
[aaaand the dadtrolling begins.]
Maybe Sakura could recommend a few healthy choices for us...
no subject
Meditation he could do. Laps around town he could do.. on hands would be weird, but.. well, he would muddle through it though. Spinach though?! At the mention of that word his head just flops down.]
Dad you're starting to sound like Bushybrow-sensei...
no subject
[Your reaction was worth it though.]
Who's Bushybrow-sensei?
no subject
[Apparently he can eat paper and insects, swallow crows and frogs but vegetables are too much, go figure.]
Bushybrow-sensei is er- Gai-sensei. Him and Kaka-sensei are rivals apparently.
no subject
...You're right, he definitely would make us drink something awful like that wouldn't he? Well, provided he hasn't changed too much since the last time I saw him.
[But your refusal probably plays a large part in why you're still so short, you know.]
no subject
His team are all really strong though! Tenten, the other girl that's here, she's on his team.
no subject
[Minato had approved of it though, despite how many times he'd walked into his office to find his student hiding there because of it.]
I spoke with Tenten when I arrived, she's a nice girl.
no subject
[He'd probably still do it, given the chance.]
Obito keeps saying that Kakashi-sensei isn't like how he used to be though.
no subject
[Gai had been able to reach Kakashi in a way the rest of them really hadn't been able to- it was almost reassuring to know it still happened.]
Kakashi has faced a lot of... difficult situations, many when he was still young. [CAN'T TALK ABOUT PEOPLE'S PASTS BUT. PLOT.] He changed even in the time I knew him, I don't doubt the Kakashi you know is much different to the one Obito and I knew.
no subject
[Perfect description of Kakashi tbh]
no subject
[You come from a long line of perverts Naruto.]
I liked his first book better.
no subject
I dunno why adults like that stuff so much. Ero-sennin used to make me read the stuff he wrote, but it was really boring.]
no subject
Wait, do you mean the first Icha-Icha book, or the other first book?
no subject
The other. He'd only just started working on a draft for a more adult book-
[Yeaaaaah let's not go there.]
Ah... Have you read it too? It's where we got your name, you know.
no subject
...That book really helped a lot y'know. During that time you appeared for me, that you don't remember.
no subject
...From what you've told me, I think you might have already surpassed that.

[He doesn't know what to say about surpassing his parent's expectations tough. Parental praise is not something he has had often, after all, so it leaves him just blushing a little and awkwardly scratching at his head.]
