• You should have also received a highest match ID number; it ought to be the person who shares the same first letter of the ID number as yours! Click that link on the table to be taken to their profile and meet your match!

[ If there is one thing Nanami excels in it is Being Nice. That's kind of what happens when your father is the sort of person who can't even bring himself to kill mosquitos: you're generally gentle and want what's best for everyone. And everything. ]

My name is Chiaki Nanami, and we're the same age. I like games, and I'm pretty good at them...I've never done this sort of thing before, but...if there's anything in particular you'd like to know, I'd be happy to answer.

Miss Nanami, then, it's very much a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Miss Meridiana Everett, of...well, Goldenrod City, I suppose, but previously of London.

...What sort of games do you like? Skipping rope, perhaps, or...?

I'm currently in Goldenrod, but I've been travelling in Kanto recently. As to where I'm from previously, that would be Japan.

Skipping rope...I did that once with Koizumi-san, and it was a pretty fun thing. I usually play video games more than things like that...but I don't mind doing them when there's someone to do them with. It's a little scary sometimes, but...it's worthwhile, I think.

Oh, how nice! I'm acquainted with quite a number of people from Japan; how pleasant to meet another!

[But oh, boy, here comes the fatal question.]

"Video" games? I'm sorry, what sort are those?

[ IT IS, INDEED, THE FATAL QUESTION. Nanami has heard it so many times in Johto, and yet...every time, it shocks her a little bit. Still, she has developed a tried and true method to answering it: BUY THE POOR SAP A VIDEO GAME.

In the space of a minute, there's a notice on Meridiana's gear that Chiaki Nanami has purchased a game for download for her. Skimming the profile Meridiana had given once again, Nanami went with "Pretty Princess Pokémon", a Pokémon dress-up game. There are minigames within which earn Pokégems, which are the in-game currency to buy clothes and accessories. Your Pokémon can then have ~fashion offs~ with other people's in multiplayer mode. It is objectively pretty ridiculous, but the minigame sections aren't the worst thing ever. ]

Games you can play on devices like this gear. They're really cool...but the best way to learn about them is by doing them! So, I've sent you one to try out. I have an account, too, if you want to play together sometime.

Oh! Well...I must say, it seems that way for a great many things in this place — learning by doing, and so on.

I...should like that, really! Or perhaps — do you skate, at all? There's a lovely frozen-over pond just outside of the city, and it's wonderful fun for skating on the ice.

I've never been skating in real life before...but, I wouldn't mind trying it...I think.

It's a very fine activity for a lady! And quite easy to learn, if one only practices her balance a bit.

It's been a bit warm out lately, so normally I should fear for the thickness of the ice, but I do have a Pokemon or two that can strengthen it themselves, so with that precaution taken, I think any day should be acceptable!
