IMPORTANT: HOW TO USE THIS LOG

• Below is a table listing all the ID numbers of the profiles that were submitted to Project L.U.C.Y. over the course of the past week! Somewhere in here, you should see your ID number! Click it and that should link you to your dating profile.

• You should have also received a highest match ID number; it ought to be the person who shares the same first letter of the ID number as yours! Click that link on the table to be taken to their profile and meet your match!

• To peruse all the dating profiles, click "View All" at the bottom of the table, or just GO HERE!

• You may respond to more profiles than just the one we've ranked as your highest match! Though we ask that you please at least make contact with your recommended partner, you may tag out to as many additional profiles as you see fit! Take love into your own hands!

• In a similar vein, even if you did not participate in the initial sign-up and profile submission process, you may still browse and comment to the profiles! You won't get one of your own posted, unfortunately, but you're welcome to reach out and connect with the people who did!

• If you spot a coding error somewhere, please don't hesitate to let us know, and we'll get it straightened out ASAP!

[OH BOY OH BOTHER IT'S HER MATCH OH BOY DON'T SCREW THIS UP, MERIDIANA]

Hello! How very nice to meet you as well. What sort of flowers did she grow, may I ask? I used to have a garden with all kinds, myself; the chrysanthemums are my favorite, but of course they don't bloom all year!

[THEY CAN FAIL TOGETHER and be adorable in the process]

Oh, all sorts! Violets, roses, I think she had tulips, too...I can't remember all of them, unfortunately. Do you have a garden?

[Luckily, she's pretty good at doing the charming conversationalist thing once she gets over her initial trepidations about the process in general.]

How lovely! What color roses and tulips? Violets are always for modesty, of course, but roses and tulips might mean any number of things, from the color.

As for myself, I...haven't any sort of garden here yet, but I should like to have one come the spring, and mean to ask my...um, my guardian about it, once things grow a little warmer. It's not...exactly my residence, so I likely ought to ask permission first.

Oh! I remember pink and purple tulips, and the roses were all yellow and white except for one bush of really deep red ones. Most of the flowers were light colors, so that one always stood out.

That's understandable. Hopefully they'll be okay with it!

Why, how very nice! Pink tulips are for caring, and purple of course mean a royal nature, and yellow roses are for friendship, and white are for purity! And the red are for true love, of course, but I should think that goes without saying. What a pretty selection!

It does match to how my mom was! I'm not sure if she did that on purpose or not, but it's still really cool!

Do flowers mean anything different depending on who you give them to?
occultigen: (PONDER ⚜ or i could stab him in the face)

On who you give them to? How do you mean?

...Oh, um, that is — can you give me an example, rather?
armoredsoul: (Nervous laughter)

Like giving them to a close friend, as opposed to a potential romantic partner, I guess? Or giving them to someone of the same gender?

Ah, writing it out like that makes it seem a little silly.

I don't think it's silly at all! Some flowers do have a few different meanings, so there is a bit of context involved. Flowers that are yellow are sometimes tricky that way, for example, because yellow ones can often mean jealousy; that's quite the contrary of a message of friendship!

So it does depend a bit, I think, but oftentimes it's the sort of thing one can work out simply from the situation — and there isn't much context needed for something like a red rose, of course.

I see! This is really cool, I never thought much about the meanings of flowers before. It's a really sweet way to send a message to someone you care about!

Oh, my name is Alphonse! I forgot to mention before...

If you'd forgotten, then I'm surely in the same boat; I've misplaced my introduction as well.

I am...my name is Meridiana. Miss Meridiana Everett. It's very much a pleasure, Mr. Alphonse.

It's very nice to make your acquaintance, Miss Meridianna! Would you be interested in meeting up sometime to chat?
