Even if it's all people we've known for a few weeks, it's.. Yes, fascinating is a good word to use! [Lifting her cup to take a drink, her eyes are going up and hey what's that blurry thing? Taking that drink still, then pushing her glasses up, Jane blinks a little at the mistletoe.

Then starts giggling again, almost hiding her smile behind the cup as she points up.] Oops, these things really are all over, aren't they? Roxy really outdid herself, placing them everywhere..

[Wobbles are coming back, but she's somewhat walking in place; just moving her feet so she's stepping in a bit of a circle, keeping her in motion.]

Well I haven't only been here for days so I don't [She reaches out as Jane starts to move, just in case she needs to grab her again.] know several of the people. Or I have only spoken to them through computers...

[She glances up at the mistletoe and sighs.]

They're not so bad, and it's only a human tradition. I think some people have been scapegoating by doing kisses on the forehead or cheek.

[Kanaya just nods and smiles at that, because Jane was certainly nice enough to be worth knowing. But she hesitates at that second comment, becuase one of the people doing that...cheek kisses and such...was her.]

It is, but it's usssually more accepted when it's a relative accidentally caught. Like Mom and Rose, they would be more than welcome to do a simple parent to child kiss on the forehead. [So matter of fact when she is buzzed out of her mind. Taking a small step forward, Jane's smile remains, though she's moving to set her cup aside.]

Yup! It certainly does! [Since Kanaya didn't go for the drink, Jane then is looking about, before picking up a plate of cookies and offering. Ever the hostess!]

Thank you. [She took a cookie and then hesitated before reaching out to pick up Jane's drink and taking a long, long drink because that would surely help settle her nerves. Even if it was just strange fruit punch. And then she ate a whole cookie. In two bites. Because sometimes she forgets she's a classy lady.]
