SUMMARY: Breeder's Con!! Come sell eggs, goods, breed with strange pokemon you never met before, talk about shinies or egg moves, and all that jazz! Just don't mind that the decorations look like they belong at a Valentine's Day party

[ When it came to parties with little purpose such as holidays, Saber found herself often struggling with creativity. Organizing a makeshift "bazaar" however was a thing a king can do and so she did. Not that she was experienced in the matters of the market, but from the stance she took as royalty during her reign, prosperity flourished within Britain so that was reason enough to feel justified in what she was doing. While the Breeding Centre wasn't nearly large enough to host a grand event, there was still enough space with the careful arrangement of tables and chairs to accommodate a larger population than the building was used to. Most of the loose Pokemon were placed away (even the murderous Scyther) and the place was decorated in various shades of red and pink.

Nero was going to love that, wasn't she? Saber thought about adding a touch of blue, but it didn't really seem to fit the theme.

For those who may be a bit more antisocial or have things they wish to trade or sale that were too large to keep indoors, there were a few tables set up in the yard under makeshift coverings from tarp. Not the most attractive job, but Saber isn't going to force people who might be wary of large crowds. Indoors, there's plenty of warm refreshments and a hot chocolate bar. All of the unoccupied rooms of the Breeding Centre have little signs hanging from the door knob just in case anyone wants to give their mons a bit of privacy too. How considerate! ]

Even if one buys nothing, the sheer amount there is to see is more than worth anyone's time.

Then again, if Rosie's sales pitches are all incomprehensible I doubt I'll have the time to leave the booth and enjoy it all.

I try, but her reflexes are quicker than mine. She'd make an excellent street peddler.

She could sell to Pokémon, as long as they are not particularly hard of hearing.

That would be the easiest part of it by far, as long as their speed is decent.

It would be easier at first, but newly hatched Pokémon are much more difficult to find. It'd only take a few days.

True, but then the damage would be done, wouldn't it? I doubt any trainer would turn away the pokemon at that point, at least...

That would be the whole point of the scheme, I think. Unless Pokémon wish to become trainers themselves.

If they were buying potions instead, they could keep them hidden much longer, though the missing money would surely be quickly discovered.

Depending on how well the trainer kept track of his inventory and funds, at least.

True. Some people are not nearly as careful as they should be with those.

Though I imagine if they were the sort to be careful, they likely wouldn't have allowed their pokemon to run off with it in the first place.

It must be possible for someone to be both careful and overly indulgent. It's merely a rare combination of traits.

I suppose that's true enough.

Though I've no doubt many Pokémon wish it could be much more common.
