Summary: It's Rise's birthday. And with the Fourth Wall wackiness, she forgot to tell anyone. So here's a depressed Rise who now feels too awkward telling anyone.


Locked Prompt for Crocker

[Rise had found a bakery in the quieter part of Goldenrod. She was sitting at a table in the corner, surrounded by her Pokémon. Her Sylveon, Himiko, and her Umbreon, Chiisai, sat on either side of her, and a newly evolved Glaceon, Jin, laid beside Chiisai. Her ever present Meowstic, Nanako, was trying to cheer up her trainer by floating a burning candle and making it move in complicated patterns.

There was a very small smile on her face, though she still looked sad.]

[Rise's out and about town now, her usual smile very brittle. She'll nod to people she knows, but keeps walking, her Pokémon always at her side. If anyone pay attention, she's wearing a pair of black glasses, with small bands of color on the frames, a red Alice band, and a set of headphones around her neck. There's also a blue hat attached to a studded belt, buttons on the hat, and a random red rose attached to the band in her hair, and last, a black tie with barrettes attached. (Of course she's wearing clothes to match this look) These are not the usual things she wears, but items from her friends. She had wished for keepsakes from home, and they had been on her bed that morning.

At least something was going right today. Her thoughts are all over the place, so it'll be hard to get her attention.]

[She hadn't realized she was so excited that she had ran till they got there. She takes a deep breath to recover and looks at some of the examples.]

A lot of these are cute... Wow, they have some of people kissing! I never saw those on any machines back home.

[She points at a few of them.] How about those?

[The kissing couple on the side of the booth makes her blush, but she laughs it off.]

You sure this isn't some ploy to just kiss me? [She teases.]

[She blushes at the teasing. In return she gives her a sly smile.]

Oh no~ You found me out!

[She quickly clams up. She didn't expect her to actually try!]

I, um, I guess, a little would be okay.

I-I was teasing!

[... well, she's never kissed a girl before, so maybe...]

I've never kissed another girl, so... I wouldn't mind either way?

[She leans in, looking up at her.]

[Oh have more blushing. A kiss? Right now? Rise is internally flailing. She stops herself from hesitating and gives Kari a soft kiss.

[Kairi holds it for a moment before breaking away. She giggles sweetly, her cheeks deep red.]

[Rise is equally as red, laughing a little breathlessly. She can't help but touch her own lips.]

That felt nicer than kissing a boy...

[She has to giggle at that.]

[She takes something out of her pocket and holds it up. It's a small pink tube with a cherry on it.]

This is what I told you about. Lipgloss~ It even tastes like cherries. Want to try some?

[She takes the tube from her and studies it curiously. Tastes like cherries, huh?]

[She takes it and uncaps it, twisting the knob at the bottom. She gently applies the gloss to Kairi's lips and nods.]

There we go. It smells really good~

[It does smell good. Kairi can't help but taste her lower lip.]

It's like candy makeup. [She snickers.]

It kind of is. There is a ton of flavors. And it makes kissing a lot more tasty, too~

Hm... I think cotton candy is a really good one. That one's harder to find, though. I think I'd pick that as my favorite right now. [She likes some sweets, too.]

We definitely need to find some of that.

They have a pretty big makeup section here. I'm sure we'll find something.
